Hello to all and a very Happy New Year. We are starting this new year at The Cavendish London with a lot of energy and looking forward to creating more special experiences to our guests. Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty, Sadler's Wells Theatre, London
4th December 2012 - 26th January 2013

The iconic fairytale about a young girl who is cursed to sleep for 100 years takes to the stage after being transformed into a ballet in 1890. Matthew Bourne uses vampires and fairies to give the classic story a gothic twist before fastforwarding to the present day. Accompanied by specially recorded surround sound by Paul Groothuis which will allow the audience to experience what Tchaicovsky's great vision. This magnificent show goes on tour after leaving Sadler's Wells theatre.  



Cirque Du Soleil - Kooza, Royal Albert Hall, London
5th January - 3rd February 2013

This fantastic acrobatic group return to the famous Royal Albert Hall with yet another mind-blowing story told through acrobatics and the art of clowning. Colourful costumes and awe-inspiring music tells the story of a loner in search of a place in the world. His journey bringing him into contact with a series of comical characters including a Trickster, a Pickpocket and a life-size Bad Dog. This show is a must see for any Cirque Du Soleil fans or anyone looking to escape reality and enter a retro world of wonderful intimacy.

Viva Forever, Piccadilly Theatre, London 27th November to 1st June 2013

From the producer of the smash-hit musical Mamma Mia and award-winning writer and comedian Jennifer Saunders comes this long overdue but much anticipated musical of one of the greatest girl bands of all time; The Spice Girls. Telling the story of a young girl on her journey to fame and the friends she thought she would always have. This musical portrays the virtues of being true to yourself and who you really want to be, and of course including some of your favourite songs including 'Spice up your life' and of coure the famous 'Viva Forever'.

Mario Testino - British Royal Portraits, National Portrait Gallery, London.
3rd October - 3rd February 2013

The moment many people have anticipated since the summer of 2010. The release of the official engagement photos taken by Peruvian photographer Mario Testino. Available to see at this free exhibition for a limited time includes photos taken between 2003 and 2010 and includes commissioned work as well as personal photos. The public also have the chance to see the Queens official Christmas Card from 2004 in addition to a portrait of HRH The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.
