LolliBop Festival, Regents Park, from 16th - 18th August 2013

LolliBop remains the biggest festival for kids in the UK. It is now in its fourth year and is known to be the equivalent of Glastonbury but for kids. LolliBop is the only festival where all the entertainment is aimed at children under 10, with all their favourite characters such as Peppa Pig, Transformers, The WotWots, Titan the Robot and many more.

Kids Week, West End, 1st - 31st August 2013

This year there are more than 30 shows taking place within Kids Week from The Lion King to The Bodyguard to the International sell-out West Side Story. This is the perfect chance to introduce your kids to theatre or just a way of taking the family out without having to splash out on the usual theatre prices. As part of kids Week, a child aged 10 or under can get free admission top theatre productions when accompanied by a full paying adult. Two additional children can go at half price. Tickets go on sale on 18th June at 10am.

FA Community Shield, Wembley Stadium, 11th August 2013

The 2013 FA Community Shield sees premier league champions Manchester United take on FA Cup Winners Wigan Athletic. As Wigan were relegated to the Championship recently, this will be the first time a team from outside the top division will take part in the final since West Ham United in 1980. However, all eyes will be on Manchester United as they take on a game for the first time without recently retired Sir Alex Ferguson in the dugout.
