The Switching on of Regent Street Christmas Lights†by Team GB
Regent Street, Central London, 5pm - 6.30pm,†13th November 2012

Anticipated to be one of London's major tourist attractions this Christmas, the event promises to get you into that festive season. Starting off with a carol service of the much loved "Twelve Days of Christmas" followed by a range of entertainment provided by the cast of the West End musical "Matilda". The evening will be hosted by John Suchet accompanied by Jamie Crick. There will also be a chance to see the renowned opera singer Noah Stewart take to the stage to add that extra bit of magic to the season.

The event also promises to have an Olympic buzz as the medalists of this years Olympics and Paralympics†for Team Great Britain help kickstart the Christmas festivities by switching on one of the most breathtaking Christmas lights in London. This event always attracts plenty of celebrities, and what better way to get in the Christmas mood than by welcoming the season with crowds of people, entertainment, celebrities and follow it all up with a start to your Christmas shopping.

There will be an ice skating rink, Zippo's Christmas Circus, a giant observation wheel (not as giant as the London Eye, though!), some fun rides and much more Christmas entertainment for the whole family.
