TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
At the Cavendish we understand that one size may not fit all and we are individuals with different training and development needs. Everyone when they join will be enrolled on our Hotel Induction and will go through a departmental induction within the first four weeks. To ensure you have a full understanding of what we are about, you will also go through our two Shine programs which will give you a full understanding of our Vision & Values, the customer journey and our approach to Service Excellence.
We will also ensure you are provided with the skills to carry out your job, whether this is through shadowing a colleague, cross training in another department, attending a course in-house or externally.
For those of our employees looking to develop their skills and career further, once you have been with us for a few months and have settled into your role, we would look at your individual needs to find the right training solution. At the moment we have employees who have enrolled in further education, have attended courses on and off site or are involved in one of our Management Development Program's which cover topics including; delegation, time management, prioritisation & objective setting, coaching & feedback.
