Galvin's Chance - Hospitality Programme from Fred Sirieix

  • by CavendishLondon
Galvin's Chance project is the brainchild of Fred Sirieix. The project contributes to existing initiatives which target specific problems that can arise in critical years for youngsters such as anti-social behaviour and youth crime.

Through principal partnership arrangements with Hilton in the Community Foundation, The Springboard Charity, Westminster Kingsway College and Hilton Hotels the project provides activities, mentoring, work experience, skill training, qualifications leading to employment. Galvin's Chance is designed to give all of the young people on the programme the skills, support and opportunities to start a career in the hospitality industry, to change their lives for the better and to inspire those around them.

Fred is currently in training for a sold-out fundraising initiative to provide funds for Galvin's Chance - Rumble In The Kitchen. This event will see daring celebrities from the world of hospitality step into the ring to battle it out,  while the more sensible chefs are in charge of delivering a sumptuous banquet.

Raymond Blanc (Le Manoir), Michel Roux Jr (Le Gavroche), Chris & Jeff Galvin (Galvin at Windows), Daniel Boulud (Bar Boulud), Brett Graham (The Ledbury) and Philip Corrick (The Royal Automobile Club) will combine their culinary skills to knockout guests and those hoping to knock out each other include Monica Galetti (Le Gavroche), Marcus Wareing (The Berkeley and The Gilbert Scott), Dean Yasharian (Bar Boulud), Kamal Manhas (Le Caprice), Omar Allibhoy (Tapas Revolution) and of course Fred Sirieix will be stepping into the ring.

Despite being sold out you can stay ahead of the crowds for upcoming opportunities to be part of the event and for future fundraisers - see the Galvin's Chance website and twitter for more information.
