Hi everyone, I hope you're very well, I wanted to share with you a few of the interesting events that will be taking place in our part of the world this summer.
First a "heads-up" to Harry Potter fans around the world... the most awaited cinema premiere is coming to London on the 7th July. The release of the second part of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows calls for a major celebration, and this world premiere is expected to be a huge hit for all Harry Potter fans. All the major stars involved in the film will be there, as well as J.K. Rowling. There will also be a red carpet public event happening in Trafalgar Square just before the Premiere, with spectacular visuals. Let's hope the weather will help!
Another event that is coming later this summer is the second and hopefully equally successful of "The Art of Being British" (below). This is a fantastic event that takes place on our very street! Last year we made a fantastic (and free!) hog roast just outside our Jermyn Street entrance and fed around 700 people that came to us... and they say that there's no such thing as a free lunch? Not at The Cavendish London!
For this very momentous occasion, our barman Warryn Lloyd is working on creating a cocktail (below) to capture the essence of "Britishness" and share it with our discerning guests.
Last year, the event was a big success, with many shops on Jermyn Street taking their wares and the tools of their trade outside and showing what they do best to all visitors. Also, there was music, a British car (below) exhibition and activities for the whole family. This year, the event will take place on the 10th September on Jermyn Street.
We hope to see you all this year in "The Art of Being British", we are going to do another free roast, and you are all invited!
