Regent Street ? A Taste of Spain is a traffic free event in late May/early Junewhen the Spain Tourist Office and the Spanish regions showcase the very best ofSpain in Regent Street. In 2009 the event attracted over 500,000 visiotrs and a hugeamount of press coverage both in the UK and overseas.
The Regent Street Festival has been an annual one day traffic free Septemberevent since 2000. The 2009 festival attracted over half a million people from the UKand overseas.The display of London to Brighton Veteran CarsAnother annual event held on the Saturday before the historical London to BrightonVeteran car run on the first Sunday in November. More than 100 cars are displayedin Regent treet. Again this event is hugely popular with the visitors and attracts greatmedia interest. This year it was held on Saturday 31 October 2009.
VIP (Very Important Pedestrian Free Shopping Day) - Organised by the New West End Company, the VIP car free day is when Regent Street and Oxford Street are both closed to traffic. Street entertainment, dance music and more, keep the Christmas shoppers entertained.
