Ben Malpass - Concierge
Meet Ben Malpass, Head of Concierge at The Cavendish London
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Ben Malpass has been working at The Cavendish London since January 2005. He began his career in concierge 14 years ago, and has been working in London for eight years. In this time, Ben has developed an extensive knowledge of London and built up an immense network of local and global contacts to ensure that the response to any request is always 'yes'!
Since joining The Cavendish London, Ben and his team have achieved guest satisfaction scores of close to 95%. Ben's focus is on leading his team from the front and ensuring that guests receive the highest standards of service at all times. Whether it be dinner for two at the Ivy or tickets to the FA Cup Final, Ben, Richard and Nick are always on hand to help, believing that 'no' is not an answer!
Ben began his career back in 1994 at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney as pageboy. He was soon promoted to concierge and in 1997 was selected for the Annual Golden Keys Scholarship to study at the International Concierge Institute in Montreal. On his return to Australia in 1999, Ben became Head of Concierge for the Hilton Hotel in Sydney. In 2000, he relocated to London, where he has worked for various four and five-star hotels. Ben is a proud member of
