Food & Beverage Assistant (Placement opportunity)

As a hotel we believe in striving for the best which has resulted in the hotel and our team receiving many recent awards including; Best Companies 3 star rating, Visit London Gold Award for Service Excellence, Gold Green Tourism for London, AA Rosette and a Visit Britain Breakfast Award.

We are currently looking for a friendly and customer focused individual to offer the highest level of Food & Drinks service to our guests within the restaurant, lounge, bar, room service & conference areas of the Hotel.

Previous customer service experience within a restaurant or hotel environment is required along with a good command of English. You will need to start some shifts at 6.30am, so please ensure your transport runs at that time before you apply.

 OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Your questions answered;

  1. Please email Human Resources your CV stating the position you are interested in with a covering letter outlining why you are applying for the role and The Cavendish. Alternatively you can request an application form from the email address listed and return this with a covering letter.
  2. We shall respond to you within 5 working days. If after one week you have not received a response, please contact us to find out your current stage in the application process.
  3. If your application is successful, you will be asked to attend an interview at the hotel.
  4. Every candidate shall have a minimum of two interviews, one with a manager in that department and a member of the Human Resources Team. Depending on the role you may be required to attend a trial or a further interview. All interviews and trials are unpaid.  
  5. The recruitment process may take 2 weeks or longer, this shall depend upon various factors such as the position applied for, the number of applications we receive and the interview process. We will however endeavour to keep you up to date.
