C&B Assistant (40 hours per week)
As a C&B Assistant you will be assisting the Conference & Banqueting Supervisor with setting up conference rooms in accordance with customer requirements and Hotel standards. As well as greeting conference organisers on arrival and liaising with them throughout the day, your main duties will include setting up meeting rooms (including moving tables & chairs), setting up conference equipment, organising and serving refreshments throughout an event and re-setting rooms to the required standard. Excellent communication skills are also required as will be necessary for you to communicate with both the Groups & Events team and the Food & Beverage team.
Experience in a similar customer service role is essential. We are seeking an individual with good interpersonal skills who is guest orientated and service minded with an eye for detail.
Chef de Partie (40 hours per week)
As a Chef de Partie you will work in a team with 10 other chefs, looking after the preparation of food for all food service areas, ensuring that a consistently high standard of food presentation is achieved, suitable to that of an ambitious 4 star Hotel with an AA Rosette.
You will be expected to:
- Work with the senior chef on duty and help to set an example to the more junior members of the team
- Prepare food to an exceptional standard to surprise and delight customers adhering to the standards set by the AA Rosette
- Be conscious of the environment and consider organic, free range and local sustainable products wherever possible
- Work within operational and legislative procedures
- Ensure careful control of food stocks to preserve quality and minimise wastage

Every candidate shall have a minimum of two interviews, one with a manager in that department and a member of the Human Resources Team. Depending on the nature of the role you may be required to attend a trial or a further interview.
