Food & Beverage Assistant (Flexible, part-time 24 hours per week)
Friendly and customer focused individuals are required to offer the highest level of service to our guests. Primarily based within our 2AA Rosette restaurant, this role is a varied one and may also involve working within our lounge, room service & conference departments.
Duties vary from:
- Setting up the dining area, conference rooms and lounge
- Serving our guests in a highly authentic and professional manner
- Preparing drinks and delivering trays to the rooms
Ideally you must have:
- The ability to demonstrate previous customer service skills
- Experience within a comparable restaurant or hotel environment
- A good command of English are essential
We are seeking individuals with a passion for delivering service excellence and those who are able to live our hotel value of "We do the right thing for our customers to show them we care". Candidates will also be required to be fully-flexible in their working hours.
Head Waiter (Flexible, 40 hours per week)
Part of the Food & Beverage team, reporting to the F&B management team, we are seeking an experienced and professional applicant with a passion for service excellence to join the hotel. This role is full time working hours as required (40 hrs per week). On any given shift, you will be required to:
- Provide exceptional service to our guests
- Oversee and ensure efficient running of service in the restaurant
- Manage the daily shift in the absence of a F&B Supervisor
- Provide learning & development of new staff members in conjunction with our F&B Management team
- Preparation and maintaining of the restaurant and lounge before, during and after service
Ideally you must have:
- Fully flexible rotating roster throughout the week
- A minimum of 1 year in a similar role
- Outstanding attention to detail
- A high level of customer service skills
- The ability to take a lead position in our team
- A good command of English is essential
Front Office Assistant - Receptionist (40 hours)
We currently have a vacancy for a Front Office Assistant/Receptionist working within our Front Office team. Within a hotel environment first and last impressions count, therefore the main responsibilities of a Front Office Assistant/Receptionist is to:
- Provide efficient, friendly and memorable service upon Check-in and Checkout
- Effectively assist our guests throughout their stay in a highly courteous manner
- Provide excellent customer services in accordance with the hotel standards
Ideally you must have:
- Prior knowledge and practice of Opera
- Previous customer service experience in a similar hotel environment
- Basic level of computer skills
- Advanced practice of a second language
It is also important that you are able to work calmly whilst under pressure and remain customer focused. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person with a genuine interest in hospitality and customer service.
